I choose my words carefully because words have meaning and because the only way to convey one’s meaning accurately is to use the appropriate words.
Words do have meanings, and you parse yours to twist those meanings until they are almost unrecognizable in a constant attempt to defend the indefensible.

Your characterization honestly makes me a bit sad for you. It must be horrible walking through life with that much hate and bitterness.
I am not a liberal Hank therefor I don't hate people who disagree with me. I merely dislike dishonesty. It's even worse when it's dishonesty from a smart person, stupid people can be forgiven their lies.

Yeah yeah Mr. "Trumpettes." Give me a break
quote:On the topics that get discussed here, that may well be accurate. I like to argue against people who take stupid, ill-informed or illogical positions. The tiny numbers of true Libs on this site means that there is much less opportunity.
I rarely see you going after them (the Far Left) on here with the same vim. If there's a "50/50" ball on a Trump action, I can count on you to be in the anti-Trump camp 8 times out of 10.
The funny thing is that, when I argue against Trumpism, I am often taking the “small government” position against. statist Trump position, and many of his supporters do not even realize that they are arguing for big government.
Additionally, when I say something supportive of a Trump position or action, the post is invariably a one-off with no replies or discussion and often with downvotes based upon nothing but my name. But when I oppose a Trump position or action, I get 95 respomses (many of them profane), leading to an extended discussion.

Damn, you must be smart!

I can't wait to hear more about him every day. He likes to share and I'm a good listener. I have a uncle like him that loves himself so much he dumps on you. Meaning that he tells you all about him without asking a thing about your life.
Uncle Mike loves Uncle Mike.
Same thing with hero skank. Its weird.

It has been a loooong time since I was in an immigration court...but doesn’t unlawful presence refer to those who overstay their visas?

Yes. It was outlined in the "Statement of Law" Aggieskank posted. Had he read it with context, he would know that.
Immigration lawyers dont make their money keeping illegals in. They make it keeping the legal ones here who have overstayed on a technicality be able to remain.

Illegal entry is a criminal offense. Thereafter, it is a civil matter. Most people use the term “illegal” in reference to criminal matters.
Well, if you are going to argue the term most people use, you should probably use some precision in your wording. Removal proceedings are administrative. Not civil.

In an immigration law context, the term "unlawful presence" refers to a person being physically present in the United States without the proper authorization. It may include instances where the person has remained in the U.S. after their temporary stay time period has expired. It more commonly refers to entry into the U.S. that was obtained in an illegal manner, such as not submitting to inspections, or using fake documents to enter the country.

Yeah. I just looked up the code. No criminal penalties, but it creates a ban from re-entry upon removal. Length of ban depends upon length of time here

Yes, when you use it to refer to people who agree with our position on something of Trump's. No, I'm not saying you use to to me as a direct address. You don't have to to make the same point, though.
The quip itself doesn't necessarily bother me, it's your duplicity in utilizing it.

Granted. My point still stands, as you indicated.

Granted. This annoys me as well.

I give you kudos and upvotes when you say something sensible. Like I said, though, the vast majority of the time you're on here either making silly generalizations about Trump supporters or getting bogged down in incredibly inane minutiae to justify you taking the opposite position to some Trump action. That shite is tired and people pick up on that.
Also, quit paying attention to upvotes or downvotes. I never do. They don't amount to a hill of beans
