Murder rates dropping is a good thing, right?

The death-cult democrats aren't going to like this shite.

That means a lot more CO2 getting exhaled.

They just happened post-Covid. It was clearly an aberration related to 2020-2021 and once that subsided we've returned to normalcy.

Too many dullards were projecting 90s-esque violence as a partisan gotcha for Biden, when it had nothing to do with Biden (or Trump).

Covid had zero to do with the spike. It was the ginned up race bullshite of 2020 + general lawlessness encouraged by Covid RESPONSE.

You're wrong that it had nothing to do with Biden (or Trump). It was political AF, largely driven by Democrats and confronted by only a noodle-armed Trump/Republican party.

Was it Biden, Trump, or "Democrats"?

I don't think the peaks happened until he was out of office. I think the peak was 2022 for most areas (which was blamed on Biden, and the following decrease was dismissed as fake data so Biden didn't get credit).

Also, federal policy has very minimal impact on state/local crime.

I hear the Obama's are ordering more takeout. Disciplining the kitchen staff just gets tiresome.

So? How is "largely driven by Democrats" inconsistent with Biden, Dems and Trump?

I'm pretty sure Covid lockdowns, which were advised and most importantly, funded, by the federal government, were involved with the spike in violent crime rates. Also, I'm willing to bet that the open border plays a role in violent crime.
