I do as well, but I am finding it real hard to see President Trump as being much different that all those listed.

If you feel this way then you haven't been paying attention - Trump is changing the world order to benefit the US.

We just started war with Iran, so it's not going anywhere now that Trump/MAGA is neocon like they were.”.(quote SFP)

Trump just ended a decades long war. And right before the Jihadists got the nuke tipped ballistic missiles that would have guaranteed their future Jihad. The only reason he is still not finishing off what’s left is for compassion on the good folk that hope for Freedom over there. Any prosperous and Freedom loving person should be willing to pay temporary high gas prices for those people. Instead of leveling their infrastructure and resigning them to the Bronze Age for the next ten years.

Your dishonest framing makes your bad point even worse

quote:

Unless we engage in regime change, which we are not as of this point, those people aren't going to be in any different position when we get done with this war. They're going to be living under a totalitarian islamist regime.

Which American politicians were arrested? What new facts were learned? Which children were saved? This should be really informative!!

Two untruths in seven words.
Impressive!

Followed up by hyperbole.

Not even sure where to categorize this...jingoism maybe...eh, maybe not quite.

Definitely jingoism

Overall, I give you a 9 out of 10. You almost covered all the NPC talking point bases on that one.

I wouldn't go that far, but the MAGA big tent that was brought over by Tulsi and RFK, which included the Dave Smith/Massie types and probably some anti-establishment left, will never be re-created. But, much of that was because Trump is a force of nature, so credit to him.

So lemme get this right ... help me to understand.

You're contention is as follows:

A True Conservative does NOT want:

1 - Our hemisphere secured and free from both Chinese and drug cartel influence?

2 - Iran and its proxies shut down in an effort to prevent them from funding terrorist attacks against our staunchest allies and us?

3 - Our borders secured, free from invasion by third world savages and the heinous drug traffickers?

4 - Our elections secured, both inside our borders and beyond? Free from illegal voters, free from cyber attacks, free from foreign influence borh financially and from a compromised technology perspective?

He is having an emotional moment, likely menopause related based off of his gender and age but you are correct on the faux conservative part

Doing better than ever. They’ve been trying to get rid of conservatives since Reagan showed up in 1976. Trump just gave them a huge victory.

And Trump even has the SealClappers saying “we need more compromise in Congress”.

I hate the constant whining about “boomers”. But the break in that election by age is pretty dam clear. Without voters 55+ Massie bests Ed handily Wonder how many of those youngins are encouraged to vote republican again?

100% Trump squandered a generational opportunity.

If Trump actually gets us in wars/conflicts that last years and years -- and a couple of huge U.S. iconic buildings get turned to rubble in a terrorist attack -- then I guess we can put Trump in the same category as the Four Horsemen of Suck.
