That is from the illegals getting a small business loan to open up their lawn service.

I would bet a lot of small business growth is this ^^^^ along with food trucks, office/house cleaning and small residential maintenance/construction related businesses. Nothing wrong with those types of small businesses but when the vast majority of those businesses are being formed by illegal immigrants it's not good, particularly when millions of Americans are sitting on their asses collecting some type of government entitlements.

Did you read that very closely? applications
Applications doesn't mean drek.
A company could take 100 applications for a job. Fill that job with 30 people. And all 30 of those people could wash out.
Applications. Geeeebus.

Weren’t most of the Covid shutdowns under Trump?

Trump had the exact same number of shut downs as Biden did.

Zero

The federal government had nothing to do with shutdowns. LOCAL governments did. Corporate America didn't help any either.

But. If you want to go down the rabbit hole, which president/administration ordered Vax mandates?

Get facts straight.

Only strongest growth because so many were shut down in 2020.

I would argue that the report dimwit posted, was because people needing sidejobs in order to try to stay afloat.
A report that only reflected how many people were applying g for loans.... loans don't help prosperity, they increase debt... I would add.

Could it possibly have anything to do with how many small businesses were forced to shut down during Covid???????

I wanna add to this.

There were a lot of people fleeing covid control states, for freer states, too.
So some of those applications could be from people trying to move to greener pastures.

You linked that biased article as evidence? What does an application indicate? What kind of metric is that? How many small businesses survive 2-3 years? Applications mean nothing ultimately.

Nah, not possible. Nobody lost a business during COVID shutdowns for months. Nobody. And if they did, surely they wouldn't try to start over again after the states opened up. This is all new and thanks to the cognitively intact president.

By what metric do you measure this ripping apart of the economy?

Hmm...that would be the cost of energy and fuel which has increased the cost of production and delivery of all consumer goods. It ain't rocket science.

Meanwhile, more businesses are being started as side hustles, or businesses that supplement day jobs. Forty-four percent of entrepreneurs who started a new business in 2023 did so while working another job, either part time or full time, up from 27 percent in 2022.

In other words, a plurality of the “entrepreneurs” from 2023 are people who started delivering groceries or fast food.

Bingo! Our government has so many ways to steal money. Asshats get in office they are worth $50,000. 4 years later they worth 50 million . While they make $100,000 a year. Freaking thieves. Need to bring all of them to the hang tree.

Love how they blame Trump for horrible job numbers and economy without using numbers pre covid and then forget about covid skewed numbers for small businesses and employment number growth for their cause.
