Many years ago a friend told me the story of him taking a girl he knew home one night. They were fooling around in his bed and they both got naked. He goes down on her until she has an orgasm, and then he goes into his bathroom to get a condom. He walks back into bedroom and she's snoring sleeping. I asked him, "So, what'd you do?" He says, "I asked her if I could frick her, and she didn't say no, so I fricked her."
So, one night I'm telling this story to two of my friends and my wife overhears it. She says, "That's rape!" One of my friends says, "That's not rape. That's agreement by omission."
Anyways, the girl obviously didn't feel it was rape because she woke him up in the morning and gave him a BJ and they banged again.

quote:Bingo.
Am I to believe that this scenario constitutes rape just because she’s my employee?
OF COURSE NOT!
Only time the law is that enforceably stringent is in the military between officers and enlisted individuals.

Forced sexual intercourse is not "sexual assault." Sexual assault is putting somebody else in fear that you would rape them. Assault is fear of battery. Rape WORSE. Rape is the actual battery.
I don't really care, but just FYI this is technically incorrect

Do women really pass out during sex? Even rape. I mean unless he's beating on her, I can't see that happening.

quote:depends on who has the power over the other... The producer might be making a milli, I don't know, but Matt Lauer is making 20 million. Pretty sure he's calling more shots
No.
It falls under news personality and producer.
It "falls under" common sense.
There is no way in hell Lauer would be criminally accountable for engaging in consensual sex with an NBC Producer.
Sorry!
No way.
Clarence Darrow couldn't make that case.
