Sorry, what it’s chock full of is shite thrown against a wall.
Thrown by experienced, certified doctors?
You gonna be a man and admit that at least?

believing for the best for your brother! Getting off of oxygen is not near as bad as getting off the vent! Make him move around if you can. Another thing I would like to add is can we not just pray and hope for the best for Mrs. M and leave the political bullshite out of it!?

It's amazing how several hundred people get it and are over it in a few days but there's that one person that gets it baaaaad! Damn Covid is Fickle.
Because everything is so hidden. No data. No info to trust. It makes me wonder is it really fickle. Or does it just target people with certain health issues.
For example, many people don’t realize they have auto immune issues. Many don’t realize they are pre diabetic. Many don’t realize they are obese.

While I agree with you, I was 60 years old and still working 7 days a week in pretty decent shape, when it hit it was like a snowball rolling down a hill, the crap would not stop. Once it got in my lungs it was rough shite. We never know! BTW, it was in April/May of 2021. I am back to 7 days a week, just a little slower. GOD is Good!!

There are a few Docs here in DFW that have ignored this thinking and prescribed Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine with additional protocols and out of hundreds and hundreds have lost a couple of people.
That sounds like a worse than average outcome for patients outside a hospital setting.

From MD friends who have prescribed it on day 1 or 2 of symptoms, Ivermectin works magic in a couple of days. HCQ worked like that too with their patients, but not as fast as Ivermectin. neither is nearly as effective when treatment begins at death's door, like FDA controlled trials on half dead patients with multiple comorbidities
In other words, the vast majority of people who are in the first day or two of symptoms don’t ever develop severe disease regardless of treatment, so that anecdotal evidence is completely useless. Then, when people actually prove they are on a course to severe disease by actually having it, the treatments prove to be likewise useless.

IV, ivermectin, zinc, and doxy. Or monocolonial antibodies
They aren't going to let her get monoclonal antibodies, much less ivermectin.

What's the scoop on how COVID reacts to auto immune diseases like psoriasis and whatnot?

you have a 5 day window from the onset of symptoms to get the monoclonal antibodies

She needs ivermectin and Azithromycin like yesterday.

Are their any physicians who practice in Zachary at Lane who practice innovative Covid treatment protocols. We need a physician desperately.
She’s in ICU on oxygen.
I’m frightened and desperate and need help. Please.
Without know anything of your wife's treatment course, it's not possible to help much other than to offer hope and prayers. I'd expect the medical team administered Tocilizumab (monoclonal antibodies) and Dexamethasone (steroid) by the time of the OP. There is some indication Kineret and/or Olumiant could help in advanced situations.
FWIW, a number of non-medical posters are parroting use of ivermectin, azithromycin, hydroxychloroquine, zinc, etc. There is no indication whatsoever that any of those are helpful treating advanced CV-19. None!

Can you define advanced for us?

What link? I simply interpreted the posters non-sensical claims based upon irrelevant anecdotal evidence. You anti-vaxxers are the ones constantly clamoring that almost no one gets seriously sick or dies from COVID. It therefore follows that no one getting seriously sick or dying after a specific treatment really doesn’t mean anything. The same would be true of people taking sugar pills on the first or second day of symptoms.

The frontline doctors MATH+ protocol specifically indicates ivermectin in hospitalized icu patients and additionally those needing oxygen.
I’m not trying to be a weiner.
But you can’t say nobody credible says it helps. There are plenty credible saying it helps.
Eta: if I’m reading charts right, it’s 40% increase in recovery rate even when started at advanced stages.
