well they have primaries for New York City elections and then the general
Also to win the mayor's race you need a majority not a plurality so there will probably be a run off In the mayor's race that's why this poll is significant because it's likely that those would be the first and second place finisher
and most of this is taught in middle school civics
oh - you are one of those that worship NYC and agreeably bend over to let them frick you in your arse. Capital of the world, right?

Never underestimate the Jews ability to screw themselves.

Yes, a candidate must receive a majority of the vote (over 50%) to win the New York City mayoral primary and special elections. The city uses a ranked-choice voting (RCV) system to ensure the winner has majority support, even if no one receives more than half of the votes on the first ballot.
Here's how New York City's RCV system works:
First-choice count: All first-choice votes are tallied. If any candidate receives more than 50%, they win immediately.
Runoff simulation: If no candidate reaches 50%, the candidate with the fewest first-choice votes is eliminated.
Votes reallocated: The ballots of the eliminated candidate are then reallocated to the voter's next-ranked choice.
Process continues: This process of eliminating the last-place candidate and reallocating their votes continues until one candidate receives a majority of the vote from the remaining pool of ballots.
Wow - you are so knowledgeable about NYC. I bet it was hard to do that with all that Manhattan dick in your mouth.

I'm not. I want Mamdani to win. I want him and AOC to continue to be the faces of the Democratic Party.

Never heard of this poll, is it legit?
Not too far off IMO BUT this poll is just a one on one race against Cuomo and doesn't take into account Adams or Sliwa. Someone HAS to drop out to get Mamdani defeated.

The polls I just looked at showed the commie way up.

Sure but ONCE AGAIN,the poll the OP was referring was a one on one race that excluded Sliwa and Adams
on the polling. If both drop out then Cuomo would be favored in all likelihood.

I know what he said. They won't drop out however. So.....

The Dems paid off Bernie to drop out in '20 so anything is possible.
