LSUTransHouston is back looking to groom kids again. I bet we can’t find one post of you condemning the left for pulling books like Huckleberry Fin off the shelf because of “bad” words used within the book

That babbling idiot came here hoping to get his little badge of honor bashing our current governor. I’ve got news for that fool, him and the rest of the resident village idiot edwards bootlickers are going to be in for a rough next 8 years.

I’m all in favor of a good Landry roast where warranted, but this ain’t it.

So you can’t name any but you search for pictures of gay porn?

See that's the thing about sexually explicit illustrations being in libraries. You don't have to "search" for it, sane parents lose their minds and go to social media to spread the word.

You don't see it because such behavior is normal in your circles. Why would someone post about the gay porn in their libraries when it's no more noteworthy than a tree in the forest?

So parents should have zero expectations that spaces explicitly for kids which are paid for by tax dollars from parents and where parents have zero presence, oversight, or ability to monitor are free from sexually graphic content not suitable for children?

Possible. Maybe that's a great time as a parent to have a conversation about what they read / saw and go from there? A teachable moment, if you will?

And what if a parent doesn't feel that sexual topics are appropriate for their 2nd or 3rd grader to be exposed to at that age?

Or are you so terrible at parenting that you belive a few page skims in a book is going to be more influential on your child than your years of parenting?

Very terrible. High schooler with a 4.3 GPA and never been in any sort of trouble

Oooh. You get your rage bait from Facebook. Makes sense.

I don’t see it because it doesn’t exist in my circles.

there isn’t gay porn in the library of my children’s school but idk. Maybe my kids go to a more conservative school than yours do. I don’t know what to tell you.

This is posturing. School libraries don’t house gay porn. Get real.

Next he should outlaw anal sex in the cafeteria. Why not?

Good. Then this law does nothing but ensure that remains the case. There shouldn’t be any porn in any school library EVER.

That actually already is explicitly banned and results in children getting expelled and/or criminal prosecution.

Just more useless legislation and a waste of time.

For real. I’m much more afraid of what my kids will find on the internet than them checking out a graphic tranny book

Who exactly is trying to put gay porn in school libraries? And why only gay porn and not heterosexual porn? This is fear-mongering. Trying to make people hysterical over a non-issue. And it’s working!

Except you can’t because you’re not in a school library and have no means to enforce it.

Schools already block porn on their devices and internet, and parents have tools to do the same on their children’s devices.

I just don't think there is a level of porn available in those books that compares to what is out there on the internet.

Go take some pictures of the illustrations in your groomer books and post them here. I bet you get banned for porn

I’m just saying that if you are an active and engaged parent, your child stumbling across a graphic book that isn’t age-appropriate should be pretty low on your worry list, especially in the year 2024.

That being said, I wouldn’t lose sleep at night if conservative books were being banned in school libraries, so long as they could still be purchased elsewhere.

Libraries are antiquated.

Oh damn. My son can’t check out The Art of the Deal at school. I shall purchase it for him on Amazon.
