Something fishy with this one, but it doesn't add up. Of all the channels through which to conduct an illicit trade, why Wayfair when VPN + dark web / onion routers are a thing.

Because then you're not laundering the money as you move the product. If you go the dark web route there will be an obvious paper trail of 10,000 showing up in folks bank accounts. Do it through the storefront and the money gets lost in the millions of dollars of transactions per day.

Plus, I don't think anyone would have ever stumbled onto this if someone hadn't spilled the beans (Ghislaine Maxwell), because nobody is going to be searching for a throw pillow on Wayfair + the name of some missing kid. The shite was hidden in plain sight.

I’ve read some pretty wild theories that I personally might put in the nutters bin, but what you said is 100% correct. Just look at the stuff we know, as a matter of public record. We have a 2-tiered justice system, fact. Epstein was a pedo, fact. Epstein died in custody before he could damage powerful people, fact.
While I don't think Wayfair is selling sex slaves, I do believe everything you just typed.

It aint potential... time for people to wake up. Why do you think human trafficking has been such a major part of Trump's agenda.

these people are now going to be accused of CHILD TRAFFICKING and expected to answer for their crimes all because of some anonymous claim that really has no proof. Super fricked up if you ask me.

Speculation is not proof. Doxxing these people is fricked up.

ETA - Something certainly seems really odd though. I am 100% about an investigation.

Meh. I think the OP is being dramatic. Go and peruse wayfair, especially the outdoor furniture. Every piece has a person's name on it. That doesn't mean they are shipping you a rocking chair + the person that shares the same name. Case in point, the deck box i've been waiting on is called Elina Eucalyptus Deck Box. Elina is not coming with the deck box, you morons. It's just a name the MANUFACTURER gives it's items. I went to the manufacturers website in hopes of finding the deck box there, because it was out of stock at wayfair. It's a legit manufacturer.
Same goes for my Jarrard Rocking chairs. Jarrard was not included.

for the deniers in this thread how do you explain the cabinets, vases and throw pillows with missing childrens' names going for outrageous prices?

just some wacky wayfair employee up to some scooby doo hijinks?

so its just a crazy coincidence all these $10,000 items had missing children names? its not like yatazah and somoro are common names. wouldn't you expect there to be other names that aren't missing kids listed for names if this was just a wacky coincidence?

can you provide evidence to the contrary? what exactly do you think was going on here?

Is it a common practice for Wayfarer to charge $10,000 for a throw pillow?

Surely someone hacked the website and messed with their prices

Not sure if it's the same but with ebay sellers they will jack up prices sky high on items when they want to take a vacation. They do this to discourage sales while they are unable to ship orders. It seems it's less work to raise prices than to delist/relist items.

They don’t have to be actually selling them, it could just be an easy way to advertise the price. The actual deal could go down through an entirely different method. Hell, pay them enough money to advertise a pillow for $10k and they just hand off inquiries to a non-Wayfair contact, and Wayfair could be doing this blindly without a clue to what’s actually going on. Criminals use mules all the time that have no clue what they’re delivering. If they have enough listings I could see one dirty employee slipping these in with corporate being clueless.

It’s easy to ridicule and talk about mail order kids. It’s a lot tougher to explain a $10k throw pillow named after a missing kid, or emails talking about pizza-related handkerchiefs. I think people who just laugh it off with no curiosity whatsoever are either idiots or they’re scared to think about how evil people in power can be. That stuff just happens in the movies or in other countries, not ‘Merica. Right?
