Headline for AP article in today's The Advocate
"Senate bid to save Roe v Wade falls to Filibuster"
10 paragraphs into the article you learn Democrat Joe Manchin voted with the Republicans, making the vote 51-49 against the effort to "save Roe v Wade". It didn't even have 51 votes so the filibuster was a moot point.
Am I missing something?

They don’t expect their readers to know the difference or read the story, thereby another headline to subtly advocate an end to the filibuster

It's not a real filibuster. They need 60 to override the filibuster and they didn't have that.

They had the vote, therefore the filibuster failed. Unless they are redefining "filibuster" as "someone from one party voted across the aisle"?
