That applies to sitting Senate members you moron.

Should I rephrase? They seat him and then expel him. Don't be a dick. I'm talking about the aftermath.

Thank you for proposing the recipe for the Senate to make their 12% approval rating even worse.

Due process still matters to more Americans than those cucked mfers want to admit.

If the Senate attempts that move they will create a huge problem for themselves... Alabama will not only push back but also strike with a closed fist....

Senate.gov

they'd need 18 Republican Senators to expel him and they have zero grounds to do so

pretty slippery slope and most Senators probably won;t wanna go down the road that says decades old and unproven accusation are now new grounds for expulsion

as for your question - governor appoints

Alabamians screw their sister/cousin and yell roll tide before Harvey Updyke poisons the trees in Mitch McConnell's front yard.

fivethirtyeight.com did an analysis of the different scenarios of what could happen with this election:

LINK

basically, the Republican party is screwed bad optics no matter what happens. The best case scenario is a write-in candidate wins, but a write-in campaign makes the chances of a Jones victory a lot greater.

It'd be the one thing they could do that most right minded people will agree with.

Ahhh, yes. Interfering with ANOTHER election.

How convenient.

Well the Senate doesn't set any boundaries (does it?) So it has to get in on that sweet election fixing action somehow.

Exactly.

So, expelling a duly elected member of Congress on mere accusations; would be interfering with an election, right?

You people are pathetic.

You found out that your smear campaign will not work; and now, you are trying to justify a Congress not accepting a member elected by a state, that has probably NEVER been done in our history.

Think about that.

You guys want to play this game; and I’m saying the people are not going to take it.

Try. It.

The Senate has done it before, but not since 1862. The last time proceedings to expel began occurred in 2011, but Ensign resigned.

I do find it troubling that accusations alone would cause the Senate to expel a member.

They won't expel him, they have no grounds to do so. This is how it will go down he will win this election and then these women will be forced to shite or get off of the pot which they will get off because they have no case. This is all a shite show for headlines. Roy Moore will be a Senator from Alabama and they are going to have to swallow it.

It NEVER happened! He resigned. Thatndoesbt appear to be what Moore is doing.

Let’s stick to the facts and not conflate the two.

Yep, they are going to fade away just like all the Trump rape victims, Bush groping victims, Mccain's sexual assault victims, and Romneys binder, they have gone back to the well a few too many times on this one.

What the supposed one who was 13 years old and had the suit being bankrolled by a former producer of Jerry Springer or the women who claimed to have been groped with Allred's daughter representing them, yeah seems credible.

quote:

Bush groping victims,

Bush is a piece of shite ,but he is 93 years old.

quote:

Mccain's sexual assault victims

Again McCain is a piece of shite ,but I have no idea where you are getting alleged sexual assaults from, link this.

Romneys binder,

Okay.

DEMs would not vote to expel him - they would cite "adherence to the Constitution" interpretation that suits them.

They would just 'tsk tsk' at the plight of the GOP having 'no better candidate than a child raping holy roller' and that would be the centerpiece of their campaign for 2018 and decades to come.

The GOP must take care of this themselves = BEFORE THE ELECTION

Whatever it takes - do what a DEMOCRAT would do (and have already done in NJ back in 1996) = Delay the election long enough to replace Moore's name with a more electable name.

Yep = I know the GOP griped to high heaven back in '96 when Toricelli's name was simply replaced with Lautenburg - DESPITE IT BEING AGAINST NJ LAW.
