Cameron County, so TX. Been there since May. Weird that Abbott hasn't let him go yet, right?

I've been here long enough to know you're a pussy. So keep it coming. It's all you have at this point. Deflection, whataboutism, and ad hominem. That means personal insults, by the way.

WTF does that have to do with the retardation of believing one state can force another state to apprehend federal agents.
This isn't in dispute. Castro was arrested in Texas in May by Texas Rangers pursuant to a Minnesota warrant. He has been sitting in a Texas jail since then.
No challenge from the Feds. The Feds have already found that Castro lied to ICE. Federal officers don't have absolute immunity from state prosecution.
I know some of y'all hate the Constitution if the application of it doesn't suit what you want, but this is pretty clear. Minnesota will prevail.
Article IV, Section 2:
“A Person charged in any State with Treason, Felony, or other Crime, who shall flee from Justice, and be found in another State, SHALL [even if it's a demand from a liberal hell hole state] on Demand of the executive Authority of the State from which he fled, be delivered up, to be removed to the State having Jurisdiction of the Crime.”
Puerto Rico v Branstad (1987) from the Supreme Court makes rendition mandatory if the paperwork is in shape.
Ellison should be in jail for the Chauvin prosecution and the widespread fraud in Minnesota, but he is correct here. ONCE, Castro is returned to Minnesota, he can litigate qualified immunity issue.

Ellison has no jurisdiction to file suit against the Governor of Texas
Watching some of y'all trying to interpret the Constitution and the law is like watching a horse and a cow playing chess.
Ellison is representing the Governor of Minnesota who absolutely has "the jurisdiction" to sue the Governor of Texas for rendition (extradition) of a fugitive from Minnesota law found in Texas.
This isn't even a close case. Castro is going back to Minnesota.

So the feds can arrest Ellison for being complicit in aiding illegals "charged in any State with Treason, Felony, or other Crime, who shall flee from Justice, and be found in another State"???

I will never understand the hatred of some on this board for our Constitution...you know the same thing that guarantees us our rights and has made America the best country in the world.
Don't like the Constitution? Amend it. Don't bitch about those of us who bother to read and understand it.

Sure if he is charged or indicted with committing a crime.
That's not the issue here, though. It's "can a governor of one state where a fugitive is accused of committing a crime force the governor of the state where that fugitive is found to return to the state where the fugitive has been charged" The answer is YES.
Castro's possible immunity defense as a federal agent is a separate matter to be tried in Minnesota.

You dims shouldn't of riled people up to harm and obstruct ICE officers. Never would have come to this if dim governors did not hurt the efforts of ICE but actively helped law breaking illegals.
All you. Reap it.

Will SCOTUS weigh in briefly just to say that feds doing their jobs are immune to this horseshite?
They already have. It's a qualified immunity that depends on the fact of each individual case.
Castro will be forced to return to Minnesota, where he can make the immunity argument.

How does this relate to an ICE officer being returned to Minnesota for trial?

If the Trump DOJ had the facts to support criminal charges against Walz and Ellison why are they holding back???
Personally, I would love to see Ellison prosecuted for railroading Chauvin and the other officers who went to jail for Floyd's overdose death. Also, SEEMS like there's lots of smoke re fraud.

I'm open to learning, and have been wrong before. What have I done wrong in explaining the Constitution and the law?
That's just the reality of the situation.
Are Walz and Ellison scum? Yes. Does the Constitution care? No

Texas is a federal agent sanctuary state.

Tell that to the Texas Rangers who arrested Castro in May. Castro is still locked up in the Cameron County jail based on the Minnesota charge.
Weird behavior for a federal agent sanctuary state.

We just need to split this country. There is no way we can coexist with these people peacefully.

I am a Christian Nationalist and would welcome a split, but I don't understand why THIS issue has everybody up in arms.
Should ICE agents get a pass for breaking the law? (Of course, Castro is presumed innocent. Maybe a jury won't convict him.) Is it that MINNESOTA wants to try him? Would it be different if Louisiana wanted to try him for unlawfully shooting through a door, wounding an innocent bystander, and lying about why he discharged his weapon?
