I'll be honest, I always thought he was an upstanding individual with character and dignity. I'm not surprised by much, but this surprises me. why was this kept on the down low all these years?
It was in Rev. Ralph Abernathy's book over 20 years ago. "Martin was attracted to every woman he met. Except his wife."

They wired MLK’s hotel rooms, offices, and even his home I believe. They have this stuff on tape. I’m sure when it’s eventually released you will say it’s fake. I believe actual tapes and transcripts were mailed to Coretta Scott King by someone in the FBI to let her know what a POS her husband was. She already knew. It wasn’t a shock to her. She grifted off his death for decades just like his kids have. MLK is essentially a ‘product’ for his children to make money off of and even then they can’t even do that right without internal conflict and squabbling between them. It’s sad when you think about it.

You say you don't believe the FBI 70 years ago, but you'll believe the FBI in current day?

You know from the past few years how much the revise history. This should be of no surprise.

This is mostly bullshite. And it’s being upvoted by the same group who write FBI as Eff Bee Eye and don’t trust anything from the three letter agencies - unless, of course, it’s attacking the integrity of a negro.

In my best Matthew Mcconaughey voice “close your eyes and imagine for are watching him go through a Senate confirmation hearing. Now imagine if he were nominated by a Republican.”

I hope you weren’t before this. At least not without Kevlar.

It’s always fair to question the veracity of government sources, but it’s also well known that MLK plagiarized his doctoral dissertation.
Nobody forced him to turn in work that he copied.
That’s a pretty significant and deliberate character flaw for a minister who lectures people about the character of their own hearts.

Beware about believing this.....the files have not been released yet....
Not saying it isn't true, just beware.

Sure, and he ran around with women. MLK had character flaws, as all people do. Trump ran around on his wives. But MLK risked his life on a nobel mission of freedom, and he eventually paid the ultimate price. That dwarfs those character flaws.
Now, I certainly would advise against using him as a Minister of God.

Trump didn't have the character flaws that MLK had, with the use of cocaine and liquor.
Nor did he pay Russian prostitutes.
As a well known billionaire playboy for much of his life, Trump's character flaws were well known before he entered politics.

This is true but not germane. Like MLK, Trump has flaws. IMO, both made contributions to society that dwarfed their flaws. Each of us might take a different view of the contributions of MLK and Trump. Mine is that they both moved the country in a good direction.

So MLK was the black Hunter Biden.

Not trying to engage in a dick measuring contest between the two, just pointing out that the public image of each are greatly misrepresented.
MLK Jr is presented as some sort of Saint, which clearly he wasn't. While his goals were noble and many agree worthwhile, black activists today overtly reject them and his methods. They do not revere the man, just embrace the deification of his popularity.
I bet most people don't even know that Trump doesn't drink or understand the reasons why. Their preconceived ideas of him as a womanizing, greedy, mean spirited racist and capitalist are a product of Left wing propaganda.

No doubt about it, but he did run around on his wives; he was a brutal businessman; and he can be a mean mother humper. The rapist shite is stupid as hell, as is the racist stuff.

Call us back when Trump has a national holiday.

Trump was twice (three times?) elected president.
Let’s not forget that, for all the good that has allegedly come from MLK Jr’s “holiday“ it was basically imposed via intimidation tactics & white guilt..
And Trump isn’t beloved so much because he’s such a great guy, people elected them because of the State that this country is in. And he is seen as the only way to right the ship.

What were his goals though?
He didn’t write his own speeches, Levison did, and his public appearances were staged managed.
Given the disconnect between his personal behavior, engaging in sodomy, womanizing, at minimum observing a rape, and his public statements, it seems unlikely that he believed the words he spoke. His close association with the Communist Party further suggests that he was not a Christian.
I don’t think it’s obvious that he was anything more than an actor.
