Who? LBJ?

Ton of info on MLK out there. MLK was a human being. He was flawed.

Agreed all the way around. I'm just suspicious of anything based solely on the FBI's assertions.

I know that Ralph Abernathy detailed MLK's womanizing. Not an unimpeachable source, but more persuasive than Hoover's FBI.

I haven't heard any allegations of federal crimes. If Hoover COULD have destroyed MLK by turning over actual evidence to state prosecutors, why wouldn't he?

Because his boss was LBJ?

Quite a coke-head in his own right, btw.

Your dad saw gay negro orgies? No he didn;t.

Why did you jump to that particular conclusion from the two page document?

There were people at the Selma march who were disgusted with the drinking and other debauchery from what they thought was a religious movement.

The “gay orgies” sounds like a Hoover fantasy, but that doesn’t mean the entire thing is bullshite. Why is that difficult to understand?

Regarding "subversives" during the Hoover era?

Google "Jean Seberg FBI":

"In 1970, the FBI planted the false rumour that Seberg was pregnant by a Black Panther Party member in order to “cause her embarrassment” and “cheapen her image” with the American public. Their plan worked."

This is from the FBI, no? Why are we all of a sudden trusting that corrupt organization?

He could have been awful behind closed doors. But what he accomplished on the professional side of his life is historic. Considered so dangerous by the US Gov, they killed him.

You're so delicate.

They (several) are saying that he was a living POS. Not could have. They are speaking as if this document is legitimate.

Even if it is legitimate, who wrote it? All of which is captured within the document.

It's pathetic and sad to see this type of shite whether it's behind a curtain or not.

And, if it was the "US government" who killed him, which "agency" was it? Who called the shot?

Why isn't Trump looking into that for all you racist POSs?

If it's documents they have been hiding, then why not?

The alternatives would be that they created fake intelligence reports back in the day but never used them and instead classified them so that they could never be seen instead of just destroying them or that the woke FBI completely fabricated these documents just for this release to smear the most famous black man in US history and are still sitting on the true documents which reveal nothing sordid or possibly trying to hide something even worse than gay orgies and rape.

The documents being real is the most likely scenario.
