No. He is unsurpassed in obtaining and holding onto power within the Republican base. The Republican leadership has increasingly smaller amounts of agreement with its own base.

Trump got over 74 million votes. Proof exists that Trump votes were flipped to Hiden in one county in Michigan becasue that county did not believe the results, so they checked the results by a hand count, looking at every ballot. They found 6000 vote given to Biden that were Trump votes. No other county in the US has done this verification. The people alleging voter fraud only want the count to be validated. If it remains the same, then the results will be accepted. If they change, then the wrong person is in office. Both of these reasons are great enough to demand a hand recount. A count that does not use a machine to count the votes. Have an election official and a challenger from each side look at each ballot in a few counties. Let the repubs choose 3 counties and the dims choose 3 counties in each challenged state.
Every county should be required to count by hand the total number of ballots cast. f this does not match the total ballots tabulated, then an automatic hand count should be triggered.

The republicans never liked trump in the first place. They despised him. They just had to give in to him once it was clear he was their only hope. Now that he's gone they go back to being who they were. The GOP is a joke just like the democrats. Bring on a third party.

the GOP donor class never liked Trump to begin with AND the GOP donor class is now completely out of touch and out of step with a big chunk of the GOP base.
Where will the GOP donor class go now? Because, IMHO, the GOP itself is going to be out of power for the next 12 years, at least, and, maybe a lot longer than that because Mail-in voting is here to stay. The courts will see to that.
