Well, let's stop and think about it for a moment, and I am speaking to the aspect of jurors being potentially influenced by fear of retaliation if they voted or didn't vote a certain way.
How would sequestration during the trial alleviate a juror's fear of potential retaliation AFTER the trial is over and done? Do you disagree that fear of reprisal AFTER trial is over would have a significant influence on their vote whether they're sequestered or not??
If a juror is susceptible to being influenced by fear of reprisal, they're gonna be influenced by that fear whether they're sequestered or not.

I remember a time when we heard how racist it was for anyone to cross a street to avoid a black person walking on the same side of the street.
