Look at the video at about 21 seconds. See the muzzle flash. They were using some kind of a non-lethal round that marked their target with paint.

I’d imagine people defending this consider themselves to be small government. And they I’m sure talk a bunch of game about needing the 2A to keep the government in check. But are perfectly cool with the government firing at people because they told them "5 times" to get inside so that makes it ok.

This does not exist.
- SIM round used in training (soft clay round w/ reduced gunpowder charge)
- Rubber bullet (soft rubber projectile w/ reduced gunpowder charge)
- Beanbag round (small beanbag projectiles w/ reduced gunpowder charge)
- Paintball/pepperball (soft plastic outer shell filled with chemical fired with CO2)
Gunpowder charge would rupture a paintball/pepperball before it left the barrel. the less than lethal round you are talking about does not exist. It was most likely a regular paintball.

I saw the "muzzle flash" or something similar, but there is no audible sound of gunpowder exploding as is the case with EVERY other application using it. It does make the exact same sound as a CO2 fired projectile. There is NO reason to "Mark" and target with paint, that makes zero sense. Less than lethal weapons are used to cause pain and make people comply or leave.
