Was a legal curfew or marshall law declared when this occurred? This still looks early, so doubt it was curfew and I haven't heard of marshall law being declared.
frick these cops, that is this person's property, they can do what they want. I wouldn't have went back inside, I would have took the arrest and sued the pants off of them for illegal arrest and trespassing on my property.

So you know who owns the property just by looking at his low rider jeans and doo rag?
Love the tough guy bowing up on the interwebs though.

In this instance, they told them to go inside several times. Why did they just stand there? They are the only ones on that street not complying. I agree the actions taken by the cops were extreme but why did they not just comply
Are you gonna comply don't die if they tell u to wear a mask?

Explain the muzzle flash at about 21 seconds on the video, genius.

I won’t. And it will be a situation completely without analogy to the video you posted.

The same cops that were run out of their precinct by a bunch of soy boys and fat broads with pink hair sure are a bunch of badasses when a few people on their own porch (in compliance with the curfew) don't run inside when told to.
Bunch of fricking losers.
Also, I see the bootlickers are back in form. Only took a few days after having their confidence shaken with the vast overreach during the Kung Flu unconstitutional orders.

On private property? frick the cops.

You would probably win. The idiot who said he would have been justified to shoot the cop would have been mowed down by the other 20 cops. The problem is more people don't understand that you can take the short term L in your scenario and then sue the shite out of them. If more lawsuits were brought for overreach instead of fighting the cops more might be done to fix the issue. Government likes their money.

How is it being a tough guy just standing there and taking the arrest? I wouldn't fight or resist, I'm a geeky nerd engineer against a trained cop. I would stand on my porch and let em take me if that's what they wanted to do. This is private fricking property where the people that live there and their guests aren't doing a god damn thing.
It's sad that people are defending cops yelling and shooting people with paintballs on private property not doing anything wrong.

Absolutely the same constitutional scenario.
There was no imminent danger to the cops. They ran away from all that in the 4 previous nights. They were just being punk bullies. Like your hero Chauvin. Who set off one of America's greatest disasters with HIS punk-bully-criminal-idiocy.

As opposed to cold paintball rounds?
Drama queen.

No. It’s not. Asking me to go inside temporarily and asking to take my guns are two completely different situations without analogy.
I don’t think that what the cops did here is correct. I just am not super outraged by it.

Asked? They DEMANDED.
The Minneapolis curfew rules state that people can be outside on their private property after curfew. So they were even within THAT likely unconstitutional edict.
A cop can't invent law on the spot - No matter how hysterically he screams.
People have the right to the "pursuit of happiness". Sitting on your front porch comes under that category.

They were on their own porch, which not only isn’t banned by the curfew order but would be unconstitutional if it were.

Hey rog. So you agree with Buckeye Jeaux that the two situations are completely analogous.

Yeah, go out of your way to frick the cops.
Then see who comes to your aid when the Antifa/BLM thugs come to burn your car, your business, home, or worse.
Hope it works out well for you.

This is highly consequential. These are Gestapo tactics. 20 or 30 cops in SWAT gear, following an armored vehicle? In a residential neighborhood? Shouting Commands? Firing non-lethal rounds?
Sorry, soy boy. Blatant violations of constitutional rights concern me. A lot.

None of that is “unconstitutional.”

You obviously have no idea who the gestapo was if you think this...

...in any way is an example of the Gestapo.
