It could also mean they are pushing the game back as the NBA tries to keep this from starting a shite storm.
Not much of a protest or boycott if they aren't actually giving anything up.

If your going to make a statement then be a fricking man and boycott the entire playoff season! Pussies boycott 1 game

The NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks have boycotted today’s Game 5 in their series with the Orlando Magic in relation to all then upheaval in Kenosha.
So Brave.
What else are they doing to help the situation?

Nobody is saying, "damn, I really wanted to watch that game."

The lack of perspective or self-awareness with these NBA players is startling. To think anyone gives a shite about basketball in the midst of all the issues plaguing the world today... That said, I agree Adam Silver will likely award the Bucks with the victory on principle and toss them an extra draft pick, to boot.

Reduced future salaries.

This whole thing has been a disaster ratings wise and you could tell the players were just kind of half hearted into it from the word go.
Yet the pundits are finding every excuse under the sun, other than their willing wokeness, for the NBA/MLB's terrible ratings.

Does boycott mean forfeit?
It has to, right? Forfeiting games means forfeiting salary and potential bonuses from playoff wins for Bucks players and coaches, I hope.
Orlando should keep quiet, claim the series, and move on in the playoffs.
Sometimes wokeness has a price tag.

Yes they are. In fairness though the ratings this season were plummeting even before it became the NBLMA. The China scandal hurt them terribly and they hadn't recovered yet. The only saving grace is that they are only half way through a 9 year contract. You have to wonder how bad things have to get for ESPN before they want to renegotiate that.

Apparently. Wouldn’t know because I haven’t been watching.

The NBA will probably postpone the game and won’t fine anyone. They don’t want to piss off the players. It’ll set a bad precedent, but 2020 has been setting those all year.

Reading isn't her strongest skill. And comprehension even less so.
