First of all I never said upper management. I said management or company owner. We are talking about the trades. If you can't be in management in the trades, where the hell else were you going to manage that's a better career? Its non existent.

Owning a very small company of say 3-4 people, just you and another technician or 2 and a wife that does some of the books and admin is not that hard at all. That's small business at its corp. If you can't manage that, I'm sorry you are destined to use a wrench your whole life.
