Most of us while wanting better choose to watch out for ourselves and family, protecting what we can immediately. At some point it’s going to show that doing so help us personally for a period but overall we should have been better at protecting ourselves together

You're right, it wasn't a lunge. It looks like he was leaning forward to say something to Gaetz when Hudson started holding him back. He was not happy with Gaetz but it doesn't look like he was lunging at him. This Tweet shows what happened but it's towards the end of the clip at the 1:22 mark you'll see Rogers walking over from the left corner.

I suspect the same. Wouldn't be surprised if this was the backroom deal with the RINOs. Dems want to control the house for the next POTUS in 2024, who may be DeSantis or possibly Trump.
