What the frick?!?! I can't even explain how pissed and disappointed I am.

Breitbart

quote:

Speaker Mike Johson (R-LA) backtracked and caved to the deep state and Democrats, moving to slip a deep state authorization into the defense bill.

Reports say that congressional leaders, including Johnson, agreed to put an extension of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The bill would extend Section 702 until April 19.

I saw an interview with Thomas Massie yesterday and he basically said there was no way to get it scrapped. So, all they can really do is try to add some warrant requirements and civil causes of action and criminal penalties for abuse.

Did anyone actually believe he would do anything but help the establishment?

I'd love to hear why you believe that. Go on ...

I’d love to see the weird porn Johnson looked at back in the day that was presented to him recently to get this flip

This is bitterly disappointing if true.

Sounds like we need to remove him too.

In MJ’s defense, he may not have enough support from Republicans to keep it out of the NDAA. If some of the Republican caucus sides with the Dems, then it’s going to be included in the budget.

wtf is wrong with you. they're all controlled 100% by the same people. wake up it should be obvious by now. there is not a single US congressman who is anything but garbage. they're all liars. everything is scripted.

I’m not really joking. I firmly believe that happens the higher up you move in government. There’s too much money and power at stake.

I never got excited enough to be mad now. I’m permanently disappointed at how little our lawmakers give a shite about Americans.

Thomas Massie has been disappointing lately. He supported McCarthy for Speaker and has seemingly become more go-along-to-get-along since. But I guess you can’t expect much from politicians.

Interesting that the dems had to manufacture the Trump golden showers dossier. Sort proves the point that Trump was the cleanest president ever elected, right?

We'll revisit it in April and I can almost guarantee they'll be reauthorizing.

Why not scrap the NDAA as it sits and start over to scale down the insanity and unconstitutional horseshite.

When you tacitly admit to fricking a porn star with your pregnant wife at home, what moves the needle from there has to be pretty outlandish.

I dont know why any of you believe FISA actually meant something.

For decades, decades before FISA the US Govt had built listening posts on foreign lands to listen to US citizens, who then gave the information back to us and since it was "3rd party" it was not illegal. All FISA did was make it "legal".

Course even that didnt work with the spying on Trump so they got a FISA two step warrant retroactive to when they started spying and made it all "legal". Even without FISA they would have found any judge in DC they had spied on and had him approve a warrant.

In summary, FISA is lipstick on a pig it means absolutely nothing.
