Mike Gallagher taking job with Palantir

Palantir is a big defense contractor and Gallagher has announced to people (apparently) that he's taking a gig with them.
So he's leaving his constituents with no representative for months, leaving the GOP with a razor thin margin, and going to a big defense contractor.
This is coming from Saagar on a Breaking Points video.
He also mentions that Ken Buck is looking at a CNN job.
I take this to mean that companies like Palantir are working behind the scenes to engineer this gifting of the House to Democrats.

If Gallagher were an O5, he would be banned by law from taking that job until 6 months after his departure date.

Many/most companies on the Nasdaq look similar. That's nothing unusual.
And 4.6% is a pittance.
