Can’t use Brown bags racist; can’t use white bags, white supremacy; I guess they need to find some blue or green bags, otherwise each color is symbolic of some supremacy or racial statement.

They can’t even serve elementary kids what they are supposed to. They were probably out of whatever was on the public school menu for that day

My point is that we need to stop allowing people who feel the need to live in a constant state of indignation at anything and everything around them dictate how the rest of us live.

The vast majority of black Americans aren’t offended at the thought of celebrating their culture with chicken and waffles. As long as it’s served in a positive manner I’d guess 90-95% of all the black people I know would be excited about it and pissed that a couple of activists ruined it for everyone else.

Hell given where the school is located it’s very likely a black American helped choose that meal.

We have an offended class, many of whom are white, who have cowed everyone else into submission and we need to start asking questions about why a handful of people get to ruin events for everyone else. It’s gonna take people of all colors and political leanings to tell them to calm down and relax or it’s going to get progressively worse because they’ve realized they can use the guise of “being offended” to wield power against the majority of their community.

And why is it a "negative stereotype" to like them?

It's a stereotype, but why is it negative?

It isn’t, that’s what’s so sick about this.

If anything it’s a celebration of a culinary contribution the black community has made to the world. I would’ve never had the pleasure to enjoy a plate of incredible chicken and waffles if it weren’t for the black chef who invented it and shared it with me.

But a very small minority of blacks and a much larger but still minority of activist minded whites decided to somehow twist it as a negative. To me it’s more a reflection of how warped their minds are that they interpret it that way. Are they racist against blacks? Is that why they get so bent out of shape about these things?

Whatever the cause, the US would be far better off if we as a nation spent more time enjoying chicken and waffles with each other and less time looking for racism and offense in everything everyone else does.

This was obamas farewell party at the WH......

So are you saying the students look down on obama????? Seems kind of racist to call the meal, uh, racist doesnt it?

I mean I never saw the chef in Italy invent pasta but that’s the consensus as to what happened so it’s good enough for me.
