Please detail.

its a tax cut for the middle class, no the tax cuts sunset while corporate rates are permanent. 9 years out those making 77k or less will see a hike while corporations, flush with cash now, get to ride it out.

its a tax cut for the middle class, no they why tax scholastic efforts, take away deductions for students and property owners, the bill provided loopholes for private jets and golf course owners.

its not a tax cut for the wealth, yes it is, .02 of 1 percent pay the estate tax, so its has to go, the dead apparently need their money, carried interest..stays, pass thrus for wall street...stays.

The effective rate on corps is 18.6 percent, the business rate is getting cut to 20 percent without closing most of the loopholes so that means the effective rate will fall even lower and the tax base provided by business will shrink

we care about the national debt, they why add 500 billion to 2 trillion to it

I feel sorry for all the poors who won’t get back more money that they didn’t put in......... just kidding, screw them.

I have sympathy for a lot of poor people but a tax cut doesn't give you back money that you never paid to begin with. That's a new welfare program

The tax cut expiration is going to be ripped out. The estate tax is the worst tax on the books imo. The deceased already paid taxes on that money. It's complete bullshite that the government takes it from their heirs

then reality sets in a few years out.
When that reality translates to an improvement to GDP to 3.5-4.0% which will increase wages and corporate profits resulting in an increase in Federal income tax collections, congress can pass a bill to make the upcoming tax cuts permanent.

If tax collections don't increase enough to control the deficit, the scheduled future tax increases will kick in. Congress can then re-visit all aspects of the new tax reform bill and change anything they want to.

The automatic tax increase years in the future were put into the current tax reduction bill as a failsafe protection preventing a drastic increase in the deficit in order to comply with what's referred to as the Byrd Rule.

You really need to lose your bitterness and attempt to educate yourself before you spout off and make a fool out of yourself........again.

Well, it won't go into effect until 2019 I believe so the current rates will continue next year. I'd prefer the fair tax but that'll never get RINO support. It's a flawed bill in its current form but better than what we currently have.

The House and Senate versions have different implementation start dates for the changes. We won't know the start date until they work out the difference.

Do you always refer to a decade as “a few years”. I’m 30 years old, or just 3 decades old. I would LOVE to have a tax cut until I hit 40. But here’s the big surprise, that administration will pretty much be forced to continue with those cuts.

Look Cruiserhog if you don’t want the tax cut just make sure you send in an additional check to make up the difference. I know we can count on you.

Oh and I just looked: $5500 for the house plan and $12,638 for the Senate plan. C’mon Senate plan!!!

20% of this country pay more than 80% of ALL TAXES.

Do you really feel that the 20% should not get a break?

I'm sorry you are poor. But mostly, I'm sorry you are a gullible moron, who for some reason comes to a conservative safe haven, to get your arse handed to you daily.

I'm as middle class as it gets (teacher), and I'm anticipating a substantial cut.
Liberals like to bank on the fact that people won't question what they say. Unfortunately it often works.
