The average sixteen year old is busy trying to chase tail and find someone to buy them a 6 pack of mike hard lemonade.

They have zero knowledge or the proper mindset to be voting on who should represent the country.

Do they own land?

I could see pre-registering 17 year olds who will be 18 by election day.

that’s what i did many years ago.

i turned 18 only a couple weeks before election day.
pre-registered early that year so i’d be able to vote in presidential election that year.

if i’d waited until my birthday, the waiting period after registration would have prevented me from being able to vote.

Just for fun, how much land should people have to own in order to vote?

So, the legislators who have unfettered discretion to set the property tax exemptions therefore get to decide who can vote in future elections?

No chance for abuse in that kind of system

Do they own a vacant lot somewhere or some hunting land?

Well see, i also think Property Tax it one of the most evil forms of taxation, so i would say in a perfect world any amount of land and no taxes.

Zoning would be such fun then.

The gov would love being the largest land owner.

Powerful folks would encourage as many folks to rent as possible.

Land prices would skyrocket.

So I can buy an acre of scrub land and sell it in square foot parcels to those interested in voting?

It is becoming more and more obvious that the current day Democrat Party is the enemy of the United States. They are worse than being attacked by an outside force.

Democrats only care about votes . They think 16 year olds are mature enough to vote but think you should be 21 to own a gun ? Haha
