America by and large has had a problem with cult of personalities and hero worship since the late 50’s early 60’s. Too many people are seduced by allure of being part of cause. Can’t decide what cause is yours? Just invent one and present it to other morons as a crisis.
Do you know how insanely large your ego has to be to believe that you are the individual that’s going to be responsible for solving society’s ills? For example, there is a difference in volunteering to help feed the homeless and believing your efforts will END homelessness forever.
