There is much truth in what Michelle is saying
the issue is why it's true
it's true because blacks insist on sticking together while demanding "treat me as an individual"
you can't have it both ways..
distance yourselves from the dark deeds or elements of black culture (what comes with the hood) that is not good for anyone or any child...then we can have progress...
vote independent, rather than like sheep
until then...Obama is right and there is nothing to going to change about it

It's just garbage that we live in a society where nobody will admit her daughters are statistically a bigger threat to me or to the average police officer than vice versa.
And I, like any reasonable person, don't think her daughters are a threat, but nor are they threatened in any meaningful way by cops or white people.

If I was a struggling single black woman w/ kids I would hate the Obama's with every fiber of my being. They have done nothing but set back race relations in this country by decades. The moment Barry stood at the podium and said Trayvon could be his son that was it.
I mean why the frick would a former first lady say she fears for her fricking daughter's lives? They will literally be protected for the rest of their lives. The will go to elite schools. If you had the potential of being one of the 1 out of every 180,000 black people killed every year by cops, you would be afraid too. If you were black, you could be part of that 0.00056% of the black population killed by cops every year. The numbers don't lie, it is basically a death sentence to be black and leave your home.
