I mean, many different groups face legit issues, including men. Its just that when many of these groups try to raise awareness re: their "issues," many on this board mock and ridicule them for having a "victim's mentality." I just want to be consistent here.

IMO, you're on the right track (I say IMO because opinion is what I've got . . . I'm not a trained researcher on these issues). I don't know if it's the brain that's wire differently, but it seems to me to be a combination of factors.
