Actually I've been told just the opposite--men are terrible with measurements, they think 6 inches is 10 inches

You replied to my .gif post with

quote:

Why should I like her? The woman is an Ivy League-educated multimillionaire, but it took people voting for her incompetent husband before she said she was FINALLY proud of her country.

She's a race-baiting phony, just like her spouse.

So I responded explaining why I posted that .gif. Are you drunk?

I've heard and read this as well. The smartest people on earth are men but women on average are slightly smarter than the average man.

I actually saw a professor explain once that the best student in his class was almost always a male but more women were in the top 20% or so

That's right. Larry Summers made a variant of this remark and was forced to resign from Harvard.

The now that we outnumber you quote should give cause for pause. Even with liberals.

She was speaking to an audience that was comprised mainly of women. Again, it was this apparently foreign thing called "a joke".

I really don't know how some of you manage to formulate complete sentences.

Tell me what your response would have been had a conservative made this joke. I know how the national press would have treated it.

Considering I'm a conservative (though I guess on this board that means you have to have an irrational, racist hatred of Michelle Obama), I wouldn't care.

The funniest part to me is that Laura Bush was on stage with her and she is still being attacked by these neanderthals.

I think the funniest part is that the people freaking out over this are the same type who complain about liberals' victim mentality. They don't even realize...

And I'm certainly no Obama fan.

Nor am I. I disagree with almost everything the two of them stand for politically, but I also acknowledge that she's probably a nice person in real life. I may have that attitude because unlike many people on this board, I actually have educated black women in my life. I wouldn't agree with most of them politically, but they are still wonderful people.

Michelle Obama is the epitome of what it means to be an ingrate. America gave her the opportunity to get an Ivy League education, and also to become a multimillionaire.

Yet, the woman publicly stated that she was never proud of her country until her incompetent husband started winning primaries in 2008. That's utterly ridiculous, and it says a lot about what kind of person she is.

Of course, shame on me to criticize the poor woman.

KCT, is this in response to one of my posts or just to the OP? I didn't care for her remark about not being proud of her country but I can understand why she might feel that way. Yes she had the opportunity but it wasn't just given to her. You have to be smart and you have to work hard to get both of her degrees. I may not agree with her on some things but she is a smart lady.

Face it we are all lucky we were born here. The accident of birth put us here and not in a place where we must worry about simple survival. That said, this nation is not perfect. No nation is.

Criticize her all you want. You just gave a decent reason for disliking her. I happen to agree with your opinion of her. It was the unnecessary racial comment and attacks in your posts that drew criticism, not your opinion of Michelle.

Feliciana, my comment was not in response to you in particular. When will people here learn that clicking on the last response doesn't necessarily mean that you're replying to that post?

I was responding to this notion that she's a nice person. Imo, she isn't. This country has allowed many of her dreams to come true, and yet the woman has a huge chip on her shoulder against America. That's bullshite, and that's one of the main reasons why I despise her.

Obtw, feliciana, this post is definitely a direct response to you.

Lsugrrl, you certainly have a right to your opinion that my comment towards Michelle Obama was racist. I dont feel that way at all. It was simply a joke. Was I taking a shot at her? Yes, just like somebody would joke about John Boehner's funky skin tone.

What's wrong with being a dark woman? You act like I called her a pedophile or something. Get over yourself.

Finally, and this is my last response to you, but you called me dumb and insinuated that I was drunk BEFORE I responded in kind. I dont care what you call me, but dont act like you didn't initiate the insults.

Michelle Obama has been pampered, and given every opportunity possible to succeed. She should be ashamed of some of the things she has done and some of the comments she has made, but you have to have some class and a conscience to show remorse.
