Democratic Party has put themselves in the position of having to put a minority on the ballot for President for turn-out purposes. Obama set an expectation for the minority voter.

Michael Moore... the shining example of white privilege and yet he condemns it. He writes a letter to Obama demanding him to "drive the rich right off their fiscal cliff" and yet, he's a millionaire.

The biggest problem the Democratic party has is being more concerned with putting a person of race and/or religion as the face of the party rather than simply going with best candidate. To them it's a game of what looks best rather than what actually is best.
