Michael Jordan and Jordan Brand have announced a $100 million donation to organizations dedicated to promoting racial equality and social justice. Per a joint statement Friday from Jordan and Jordan Brand, the donation will be paid out over 10 years with the goal of "ensuring racial equality, social justice and greater access to education"
All these virtuous millionaire athletes could learn a thing or two from Michael Jordan. Want to actually help out? Put your money where your mouth is

See I like this. Just don't make me pay for bad decisions one race makes or has made. I'm my own person. I got too much shite to worry about on my end to worry about the 9 unarmed black men that die each year to the popo

Good. Now it's time to eliminate welfare since these generous rich people are paying for all them programs.

Good for them. Love when private companies use their money how they want.

Giving back to the community. This is how you do it

He should. His products are the cause of a lot of black deaths every year

Every race on the planet is allowed to celebrate and support their own kind except one.
Not only are whites not allowed to support each other, they are required to actively destroy themselves.

Let’s see how LeBron reacts.

I wonder if spike lee, Jesse Jackson, or Barack Obama are going to give any money to help out their AA community.
Honestly if all these overpaid AA athletes gave a fraction of their bloated salaries to the African American communities they could prob fund schools and programs to help them out of poverty.
They just realize that throwing “their” money at them will do nothing to fix the problems with the culture.

This right here.
And how about we make sure it goes to helping with change and not into certain ppls pockets that just take it

Been over charging for those airs long enough. He and Nike have milked that community for far more

Am I the only one who sees the irony of Michael Jordan of all people giving poor black people THEIR OWN money back to them after they spend $2XX on the new Js that just dropped?!?!?!?!?

Good. Letting kids that can’t afford lunch buy $200 shoes for three decades should have been a criminal charge.

"Black lives matter" is not a controversial statement, but neither is "all lives matter."
If any of this money goes to the Black Lives Matter organization, they are funding terrorists.

A lot of the BLM people are actually complaining in the comments that it’s not enough or he’s only doing it to outdo LeBron.

So he sets up a Foundation and funds it through annuities and takes a huge tax write off spread out over several years. Good for him, seriously, but how will these funds be allocated? I can see this money going to shady nonprofits in the inner city with the majority of the funds going to a few black politicians and their cronies. Nothing will actually be accomplished.
Yeah, I'm cynical.
