Mike Flynn gave a talk before a large audience of interdenominational religious leaders (INCLUDING JEWISH RABBIS). In it, he discussed various elements of human nature. Specifically he addressed the common desires of individuals to go with societal flow, drift with social streams and not fight the current. He observed the role government plays in that flow, and noted that folks can be remarkably convinced to trust even the most untrustworthy players if they are shown to represent the government. He made that point as he discussed presently tolerated behaviors which would have been socially unconscionable just a few years ago, behaviors such as our societal adaptation and acceptance of grooming. In that vein, and to illustrate potential terminal dangers of those tendencies, Flynn discussed the role played by similarly social adaptive traits and "norms" of the 1930's which helped facilitate the holocaust. In doing so, he directly quoted holocaust victims.

1. Were mothers separated from babies before boarding trains? I have my doubts.
2. Were mothers separated at the camps? Probably, if they thought the mother could be useful as slave labor and I suspect only after being convinced the baby was safe or by force. I need to reread the book by the commandant of Auschwitz that the commies executed after his trial.
3. I hate it when public figures talk from a stage like a preacher or a 2nd rate political/comedian. Stand at a podium and give speech like a man.
