Well, not to speak for BBONDS, but it was kinda silly to say this is a nothing burger because it didn't just happen today and to imply that what Trump says is inaccurate. Again, it doesn't matter when it happened. If it happened there need to be consequences.

Fair point. I hope you're correct. I was excited when I first read the post, because I thought Cohen had literally, formally recanted by filing some affidavit in an appropriate court action.
The NY prosecution and the civil fraud trial of Trump were BOTH disgusting abuses of legal power. Those responsible SHOULD face justice.
When I found out it was a reference to informal comments made last month, it's hard to understand why no action has been taken by Trump’s DOJ if there were really a case.
But...you're right....Trump might have something up his sleeve. ..

You didn’t seem to have this type of energy when Trump was pushing for trumped up false charges over that pool liner debacle. The sitting president was so mad that his liner vandalism was a hoax, he tried to prosecute innocent people over it.

But is Hearn actually innocent? Aside from the deflection here, Trump has acknowledged that the installation was botched. What he actually claims is that in addition to the botched installation, Hearn also vandalized the liner, which he apparently did. This is corroborated by multiple witnesses who report seeing him pulling on the liner to yank it up.
The prosecution dropped charges because they couldn't connect that to the failure of the liner itself, and rightly so.
What Trump wanted was additional vandalism charges and the DoJ declined. Which, imo, is how it should be. Unlike with the previous guy in office, the DoJ is acting autonomously and not just doing whatever Trump wants them to do.
So, this is yet another bullshite post on your part, which is expected at this point.
