You do realize that Asians generally vote Democratic right?
I don't think AA should keep anyone out of a college. But I think it's very delusional to think that most Blacks that qualify wont get into a IVY or other major university.

I can tell you that I’m Asian and I vote republicans in office as well as my immigrant parents who came in ‘75. I know most down south Louisiana don’t vote democratic as well.

UCLA is a State school and in California so they can't use race as a factor.
And the school is majority Asian.
40 percent are Asian-American; 25 percent are white; 24 percent are Chicano/Latino and 6 percent are African-American.
But what Harvard will do is what UCLA does...you can't use race...but you can race-identifiers based on statistics.
Of those recently admitted to UCLA:
1) 31 percent are from families where neither parent earned a four-year college degree.
2) Nearly 32 percent are from low-income families, defined as those earning less than $50,000 annually.

Liberals, can you tell me which of the following options is racist?
Proposal: We should penalize one race -50 points on their SAT scores when applying to medical school. Another race should receive +230 points to their SAT score when applying for medical school.
A.) "I don't really think we should be treating anyone differently based solely on their race. That doesn't seem fair to me."
B.) "I need to know which race is receiving the bonus and which race is being penalized before I can the question."
