Why are we installing them into elected offices?

They also let Rashid Khalidi run wild in the Middle East Studies department for years. Why learn history when you can learn propaganda? And they recently renamed the Oriental Institute “The Institute for the Study of Ancient Cultures” or some such nonsense. Because Edward Said said “the Orient” was racist. I’ve tried tackling that with a few.
They love “indigenous” people because whiteys from Europe (colonizers) were the first to inadvertently introduce inevitable viruses and did not negotiate price for land that was previously fought over by native tribes behaving as street gangs battling each other over turf they merely occupy but don’t own.
So now those who despise the US are welcomed in so they can battle whitey and eventually install a form of government more like less economically successful nations who help their people merely get by rather than encouraging excellence.
I’m paraphrasing because quoting them makes even less sense.
