I responded to two separate questions with the same answer because the questions were almost the same. You are easily offended!

Family members who lost a loved one because of negligence or worse. In this case , a lying media that misled doctors, and the world on the preponderance of the evidence available. Slam dunk!

We love trial lawyers, don’t we folks?!?!

Wrongful death is the obvious one. Grief, suffering, and mental anguish are legitimate damages incurred when the death is caused by another parties death. We need our media to tell the truth. They did no investigation, they pushed a narrative and people died. Slam dunk. People who lost jobs, entrepreneurs that lost businesses, etc. they should pay for the damages caused. This is bigger than we can imagine!

The media owes no duty to anyone to tell the truth except when their writings are false and libelous toward a specific person or entity. The recipient of the news is free to accept or reject what the media reports.

A similar case was filed against FOX News and should be dismissed for the same reason.

MSM lies, and scaremongering on hydroxychloroquine will be their demise. Nick Sandmann got millions and he didn’t die. Families of Coronavirus victims, that didn’t receive hydroxychloroquine, should be looking for lawyers. Lawyers should already be researching this to get ahead of the onslaught. This is how the fake news media finally ends. Gonna be glorious!

So doctors do what the media tell them...could you explain what the claim would be? How it would be tailored?

sue for defamation here?

defamation, we are talking RICO here
quote:

Drummond Company

In 2015, the Drummond Company sued attorneys Terrence P. Collingsworth and William R. Scherer, the advocacy group International Rights Advocates (IRAdvocates), and Dutch businessman Albert van Bilderbeek, one of the owners of Llanos Oil, accusing them of violating RICO by alleging that Drummond had worked alongside Autodefensas Unidas de Colombia to murder labor union leaders within proximity of their Colombian coal mines, which Drummond denies.

The media has worked as a cabal to blatantly lie and create deaths while in collusion with one another. They vote out members of their group that wont participate (OANN) and allow in new members with covert ties to those (CCP) that covered up the virus spread.

Discovery would be a bitch

If I lived in a state where the Governor was influenced by MSM to ban Hydroxycholroquine, I would sue the frick out the MSM if a family member passed away due to Covid 19...even if they really didnt.

Is not analogous to this:

Its amazing how many people believe litigation is warranted in every situation. Of course rogue courts with their jurisprudential ledgerdemain promote this kind of thinking.
Thankfully we have appelate courts.
