Rush Limbaugh just read a report of Chinese (either government personnel or TROOPS) lining up on the border of Hong Kong.

To the non-Rush-haters out there, you know that he doesn't normally report rumors.

Any threads on this? Or other knowledge? Links?

This was reported a week ago and never corroborated...

Hong Kong is an amazing place and sad to see the state it is in right now. I’m actually supposed to be there in a few weeks.

I have friends over there sending me videos from the protests. Their text was “I love HK too much”

I don’t see any way Lam makes it out of this. I think she has to resign and then a new person comes in, they let tensions settle, and then the next move is made.

I made my first trip there in October, and will be there again in November. It is SUCH an interesting place, but SO insanely crowded.

I talked to lost of residents, but never got a feel that the Chinese rules were stifling. I had no clue this undercurrent was so strong.

Are your friends expats or residents?

ETA.. I knew the thumb of China was strong, and crushing.. I just didn't realize Hong Kongers would protest it so much. I thought the masses had just accepted it.

Chairman Xi finna to rock n roll on the protestors. Will just say this, if the subways get shut early like 9pm local time, look out, it will get very ugly.
