Screw Mitch and his turncoating. Even with a vote to acquit.

You could argue Turtle had a hand in this charade anyway

McConnell would vote to impeach if they had the votes. In hindsight, the only good thing Mitch did the last 4 years was appoint judges.

Ignoring what Trump says, it's pretty obvious that the election was heavily flawed, and yes, likely stolen.

See TIME MAGAZINE article on that.

There's ample proof.

If Jan. 6 was a terrorist act, what in the hell was the BLM/Antifa summer of violence ?

Trust me, we've not forgotten.

If the election was flawed it wasn't anymore than the usual. I guess the people who voted illegally for Biden decided to help the republicans pick up seats in the house also. ANNND I guess all of the republicans of influence who had the power to initiate and investigation to uncover any fraud (like William Barr) decided they would let the fraud go unpunished this time huh? ANNND I suppose all of those request for trials submitted by the Trump cult but DENIED by Trump elected judges were fraud too? I guess they appreciated the fact that he nominated them but just didn't care to allow his "validated" election fraud cases come to trial huh? I guess ALL of those judges didn't get huh?

Trump had a evidence of election fraud and a valid argument...They just didn't like him and refuse to even let it be entered into court huh? Is that what you're telling me? All of them? OH...."But it was in a TIME magazine article I read because TIME has evidence and facts that the Trump team didn't have to to submit to judges." Do I have it right now? TIME magazine got it right, the republican appointed judges that probably voted for Trump didn't. Damn it, they should have read TIME magazine!! If you can't see the flaws in your way of thinking this country is truly in bad shape.

Believe everything that aligns with what I believe, everything that doesn't....It's gotta be a lie! There's such hatred for the left that people are willing to close there eyes and believe anything the right-wing tells them. We are DOOMED if you can't release some of this hate!!

You made this alter today just to post this crap?

Whats not true about this? So you mean to tell me that the Justice Department and ALL of these elected officials and politicians (including previously Ruby Red Georgia) can't show ANY widespread election fraud enough to change an election? NOBODY!!! At some point any SANE person has to realize that as much as they hate to admit it there was no election fraud! Or you just must be blinded by hatred and denial. Democracy worked!

All the right wingers talk this "he said, she said, I heard this, I heard that" and have produced 0 evidence! ZERO!!! And even if you found 1 or 2 cases thats normal out of 150 million voters and clearly not enough to affect the outcome of an election. Wake up!! Lay off the pipe!

If McConnell was actually left to his conscience, he'd convict. He's a scumbag.

Then why were he, Cruz, and a couple of other senators meeting with Trump's legal team after each day of the prosecution's testimony?

The House and only The House impeaches.

The Senate votes to convict or acquit.

Our President has been impeached. Twice.

Mitch doesn’t have a vote in peach mint.

Mitch votes for conviction or acquittal.

The peach mint vote passed in The House.

If Trump didn't LIE like the election was stolen with ZERO proof we wouldn't be talking about this today and the terrorist act on Jan 6th would have never happened. Did you forget?

this is only about January 6th

Seriously!? The dems used words way worse than Trump. There was no evidence that Trump did anything wrong. There is evidence that Congress and DC did NOT want NG troops onsite after they were made available for them.

...and Mitch says he will vote to acquit. Kentucky, please primary Mitch. La. will primary Cassidy, and Cassidy will NOT be re-elected.

Your logic is dizzying.

No it isn't.

Mitch is a swamper, and yet you're mad that he's not voting to convict an innocent man?

Again, Mitch's vote has nothing to do with Trump's actual innocence and everything to do with trying to appease the Republican base. If he could vote to convict and get away with it, he would.

Because he ( Trump ) too isn't a part of the swamp?

That's exactly why McConnell and most of the GOP despise Trump and many of his policies.

Are you saying those political ramifications are bad ?

I'm saying that if political ramifications are the only reason you vote to acquit someone of a non-existent crime, you are a fundamentally dishonest and immoral person.

Trump was impeached by the House. Still counts as an “impeachment”. The senate then holds the trial to remove from office...... Johnson, Clinton, and Trump(2) have all been impeached but never convicted in the Senate.

At this point IDGAF what what McTurtle does. Hopefully he sinks back into his shell and never comes back out.

He needs to walk away and let somebody new who actually cares about America step up and do his job. Pretty sure Cruz would take that position with glee.
