If I wear a mask that is deemed offensive, racist, or just hurts someone else's feelers, can they make me take it off????

I know of no scientific consensus that masks do much against COVID. and I spoke with two doctors on Mon that both indicated that masks, the way they are worn, probably increase the probability of transmitting the virus.
Emotion seems to drive the need to wear a mask. It just FEELS like we are protecting ourselves.

Because it makes no sense when you consider that there is no end point to the policy. No sense whatsoever. Are we going to wear them forever? If not, what exactly is the metric we will use to stop wearing masks? A vaccine?
There is a better chance that we NEVER get a universally effective vaccine than there is that we will develop one. It is pure, 100% just virtue signalling and FEELING like we are "doing something". Again, the masks will not stop the virus from spreading through the population. It will only slow that spread down and distribute the cases over months and months and possible years. Why is that automatically a better result? Why is that automatically worth all of the restrictions?
