Would be hilarious if Kim just really liked Donald Trump. Maybe he’ll gradually start wearing suits, tanning and rocking the combover look.

Donald Trump, Rosanne Barr, Kanye West, Pamela Anderson, and Cory Feldman will save the world.

What a time to be alive!

What was he gonna do, build more thermonuclear bombs and ICBMs? What was that gonna get him? Does anyone really think his end game was a nuclear arms race or to blow up South Korea or EMP the USA? I think his end game was to demonstrate capabilities that would make the world respectful of those capabilities and eager to talk to him. Seems like his provocations during 2017 are working perfectly so far.

OK,forever, those of us that have common sense, knew that his endgame was suicidal and ridiculous.
The only thing was,he had connections to,and seemed to have, the protection of China. So we walked softly.
Did China just give up on him or what? What was the breaking point, where he realized that he had believed in a pie in the sky draw,or that his bluff would never work,in the long run?

I think his (near term) endgame is going exactly as planned, and I've been saying for months that he reached a natural stopping (pause) point in his weapons development, with the next step being a new round of talks (blackmail). He seemed to be in a real hurry to accomplish a lot in 2017, flying missiles over Japan and exploding his first thermonuclear bomb, all the while ignoring all those angry tweets. He just might've thought the Olympics would be the perfect setting to begin extending the olive branch, and they were. He's got a seat at the table now. Boy's doing well for himself.

So you think his goal is actually to come to good terms with the U.S.,and re-unite with S.K.,

or to play 2 big brothers against each other,to see who really loves him best?

He has his chance. Not many get a chance like this,to be remembered a long time in history.

The question still is : Who will he be a hero for?

This could still go several ways.

I hope, for the sake of the Human Beings, and even the animals in his control, that he will do the right thing.

There never has been a President to say he would sit down with NK and make peace. The thought has been to not legitimize the dictator. Trump convinced China's President to put the screws to lil Kim or he'd nuke the turd. He said that as he served him the choc. cake and "oh by the way" i'm bombing Syria with 70 tomahawk missles. Some cultures respect strength not limp wristed diplomacy. His tweets were to lil Kim but also to China.

Here is another question, considering how North Korea has had to struggle: Did China even want them in the first place? Or were they always viewed as a burden and a liability, that hung on too long?

I’ve felt all along Rocket Man was doing exactly what China told him to do. China created this nuclear situation to create a regional crisis. China removed the nuclear threat in exchange for more control over the South China Sea and thier island. I’m sure this deal will never be publicly disclosed. It’s totally obvious that China gave Kim new marching orders.

Once, the stuff of science fiction.
A guided kinetic energy weapon from orbit.
What do you suppose caused the North Korean nuclear test site to collapse?
An accident?
An earthquake?
No OSHA oversight?

im of the belief that his country has gotten to a tipping point. Im actually scared to see how the people look when we get access to the deep regions of NK. The starvation and destitution that is going to be revealed is going to be amazing.
