That would be beyond depressing were it to be true.

Politics shouldnt be a popularity contest. This is the kind of feminine logic that has our country in the sad state is currently is in. Every politician knows people like you are far more abundant than logical people, hence why the news is always a circus about every politician's personal life...policy being an afterthought

Hes effective at fighting for good policy. If we had a House full of men like him, the GOP would be a force. Instead, like you said, the Nikki Haley wing basically neuters the party

More kabuki theatre. That committee could do something about these situations if they wanted to actually fix something.
Instead, they want to locate and act concerned and then do nothing about it.
Honestly, what more can they do under the current regime? The Attorney General is corrupt and thumbs his nose at subpoenas etc. They could have impeached him but Congressional RINOs voted to block it and protect him. At the very least, a few America first conservatives in Congress are exposing these frickers publicly for the scum bags they are.

Nearly every bureaucrat that testifies before these congressional committees is openly hostile to any sort of transparency or oversight from our elected representatives. Something has got to change with this process, it’s clearly not working.

The house controls the purse. What they can do is stop funding the BS until shite is fixed. Do you pay your contractor in full before the job is done?
