The thing is, if anybody releases a name without absolute proof of wrongdoing, a huge lawsuit will be forthcoming. Just ask the North Carolina Lacrosse team. The prostitute didn't have anything to sue for, but our government sure has a lot of funds. Massie sure better be rock solid with the information he's clamoring for, because he will be named first in any lawsuit.

They're talking about releasing police/investigation files, right?
How would that lead to lawsuits?
The Duke situation involved prosecution. As far as we know that didn't happen to any person implicated.

First of all, why do people talk about a list? As if Epstein kept a Santa Clause list in his jacket pocket or something.
Also nothing should be ignored. If there is evidence then turn it over so we can have the scandals and move on. It has never been a big deal to me, but I agree there is some folks on both sides covering their asses and people are not going let it go.
The problem is that people have probably been destroying evidence while this drags on and much like the Clinton server scandal, nobody gets in trouble for destroying evidence.
So we are never going to get the kill shot we are looking for here. There are just too many layers of coverup involved.
