In fact, we are likely going to seek to cut treatment for mental health services in our next budget. Is this like when the proxy leader of the DNC immediately and incorrectly suggested that if the LV shooter used a silencer they could have done more damage? That type of politicization and agenda driving? Just looking for some context.

Ummmm, this might not be the place to look for "real info".
Of course, cable channels fill time with speculation too so I am not sure where to look other than to wait* actual news conferences from the investigators involved
thought "wait for" or "watch" and split the difference

Well this is a shooting so you answered your own question.
I didn't narrow it down though, could see where I wasn't clear.
I frequently see things here first that prompt me to look for news elsewhere but not shootings. People do bird dog things for me here pretty well.

I saw pics of paddock with antifa flags, vagina hats, etc. point is this is all speculation, and everyone is showing their ignorance by hoping it can be a political grab down the road.
