Which actually will help. Better than nothing, not as good as a surgical which is not as good as a N95.

Anything that will cover your mouth and nose is better than nothing. More to stop you from spreading stuff but it doesn’t have to be n95 to stop a few particles here and there. Your average neck gaiter is okay and looks cooler than a mask.

You won't find them. Literally every mask being made is going to hospitals or government. Amazon even says on their site that they refuse to sell to general public.

China has plenty of KN95 masks available but the FDA won’t let them in the country because they haven’t approved the plants that manufactured them

N-95 needs to be fitted. They have not determined if this is an aerosolized (airborne) pathogen.
At UW in Seattle they are wearing normal surgical masks unless they are in treatment rooms using nebulizers on positive patients.
ETA: to be clear N-95 are only required for airborne pathogens. In hospital all other pathogens (droplet) use of surgical mask is appropriate for Infection Prevention.
