Why? Because of his decision in the Dred Scott case.

This argument is such a fallacy.
The statues are already there. Action is being taken to remove them. The outrage was initiated by the SJW Progressives. Many of whom have never seen or noticed these statues.
Being upset about that action is completely different.
It's like the new tendency of Progressives to call everyone a snowflake who doesn't agree with them.
The intolerance is born from the Progressive SJW's, not the people disagreeing with them. Critics are simply calling them out on their idiocy.
I don't know why it's so hard for Progs to understand this very important distinction.
