Maryland bill would ban companies from firing workers who refuse the COVID vaccine

A new bill in the Maryland General Assembly would make it illegal for companies to terminate employees who don't take the COVID-19 vaccine.
The bill is called the Maryland Employee Protection Plan for Vaccine Refusal. It also blocks workers from suing employers if they refuse a COVID-19 vaccine and then contract the disease.
Shocking coming from a bluer-than-blue state! The basement dude is certain not to like it but, assuming it passes, it would set a nice precedent.

Companies can't fire workers who refuse the vaccine at this time as all of the vaccines are under Emergency Use Authorization. Workers cannot be required to get the vaccine until it has full FDA approval.

The government mandating that you have to take the vaccine would be a leftist (communist) act. I don’t care if people choose to take the vaccine of their own volition, but frick mandating something where the long term effects are unknown.

The Department of Defense also cannot force uniformed service members to take the vaccine since it is under an emergency use authorization. Think about that. The military can’t make uniformed service members take it because it’s considered experimental. That should make those who really aren’t in high risk groups think twice since the military makes service members basically take every shot known to man when they deploy into third world shitholes and don’t think twice about it.

So there can be some truth to the twitter post posted the other day that said that health insurance company told the person they aren't covered if they were to due from the vaccine? Granted it was a Canadian, but interesting.
I wonder if there are any insurance experts on here that are able to chime in on how all this works. From medical to life insurances.
