The thing is Brees didn't apologize, and obviously he didn't need to. He made a video speaking of his support of kids taking bibles to school. There was no backpedaling or apologizing. OP and Mark Dice are just dumb. Maybe he just doesn't like Brees, that's fine. And if Brees comes out later and apologizes I'll disagree with him for doing it, but in the end, still won't care, as he's just a football player.

It is a shame that a guy gets push back for simply encouraging kids to bring a bible to school. I don’t see Brees as overly political, just a bit naive as to the vitriol and working ways of the liberal, progressive media complex in this country in seeking to demonize Christians.
I get Dice’s point, but he is expecting Brees to be steadfast like Trump in defending himself/actions and I don’t think that is his strong suit.

Brees doesn't want to be a point of controversy. Nothing wrong with that. I didn't realize he was religious, so that's what I learned in all of this.
