Yep, cuban agrees. When you are having issues in your own household isn’t the Best time to be deflecting about what is going on down the street.

Everyone has issues at their own house. Just because we have looters stealing TVs and destroying Starbucks in the name of George Floyd doesn’t mean we can’t take action elsewhere. That’s a very simpleminded approach. Should we not have done anything to stop the Holocaust? You’re fine with Genocide?

In other words too much of a pussy to have an opinion

Cuban has been "shaming" people on twitter the past day or two for saying they are upset about Anthem kneelers.

That’s a little misleading. Some guy said he was out on the Mavs if any player kneeled for the National Anthem.

Also, Cuban responded about China and has called them out previously. (my bad here)

Eta: misread an article from Oct 2019 where I thought he called out China on Hong Kong. Really just said he wouldn’t have disciplined Morey which is not the same thing. My bad there.

I mean, if he asks Cruz if he can say "Black lives Matter" then Cruz can just reply and actually say "black lives Matter"

Has he said this before? I haven't been following Cruz in regards to BLM but I would be surprised to see that as his response.

I must’ve missed him talking about the genocide of Muslims and overtaking of Hong Kong.

I don’t really know enough about what is going on there to comment. I empathize with all people who are mistreated by their government or whatever. if that’s the case then I feel for those people. But whataboutism is never a good look.

This isn't an attack - I'm genuinely curious but can you provide evidence?

The only stuff I see is like that video that was just linked from that one poster on Pg. 2. where Cuban has some opinions that China engages in some unfair trade practices. That's not even close to what Cruz is asking him to opine on and China's reaction to the Free Hong Kong, Uyghur are much, much more sensitive issues to the CCP.

He said, yes, black lives matter, but the organization is horrible.

The NBA is cashing major checks from China. Pointing out hypocrisy isn't whataboutism.

Cuban is out of his element on this one. Everyone knows that if you want Ted Cruz to respect you, you’ve got to insult his wife and call his father a murderer. Cruz would probably head down to Orlando to help with shoot-arounds.

Ah, I looked for anything BLM and him after I asked and could mainly only find his remarks regarding them in 2015 and Ron Perlman willing to fight him over it.

I'd still be surprised to see him tweet that in response though.

I just re-read the article from October I saw, and I mis-read it. Saw a couple people call me out on it and knew I must have misread something. My bad there y’all. Definitely didn’t call China out specifically on Hong Kong.

Maybe Ted knew the left was trying to dismantle the systems of this country and put petty bullshite behind to try and stop it. Cruz doesn’t seem to be an overly emotional person like you guys.

Cuban will go ad hominem or revert backing to talking about Cruz on domestic issues ("Can you say 'black lives matter'???") or...say nothing.

Exactly what he did.

Cruz needs to say black lives matter then press Cuban to say Free HK, and Cuban won't, and will be boxed in.

Cuban says he doesn't get into domestic issues, but these are the same folks who say silence is violence and injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere, so which is it...

I understand him not being willing to straight up condemn China, he's looking out for his wallet. Same as many others have. Understandable.

The issue is this. Once you've shown me your activism only goes as far as your self interests, why do you think I should listen/care about your stance on BLM, rasism, or anything else? It's so hypocritical.

Isn’t it just all about money?
His self interest in money

I don’t really think half these White guys care about BLM they’re just doing it to check some boxes for the woke sponsors
