This is the laziest/stupidest argument there is. Not surprising it's the mantra for potheads.

We've tried to put booze in the genie bottle, and didnt work. it's an abused substance by many, and we have to live with it. Cigs we are slowly taking out, but then bring in something similar....smart.

Again, once it is let out then it can never be put back in.

And I smoke from time to time, but i'm not naive enough to think it's a great idea to legalize it.

Not factoring in the "stoning" of the people of Seattle/Portland as apart of the other problems is just ridiculous. Smfh

Yeah thats just all it is bud. Smh I would guess you find it hilarious that gays getting married is important to people. Or people trying to turn kids into trannies shouldnt be a big deal either to people. Or the simple murdering of unborn.

There are things that have been set as not acceptable for a reason, but the continual normalization of these things is becoming a major issue in this society.

As Winston Wolf would say, let's not start sucking each other yet.

For instance, Texas Republicans adopted several pro-marijuana party planks, including expanding medicinal uses and decriminalizing smaller quantities (fine only).

Well, when the nutcutting time came, the state senate put the kibosh on both.

Lying to get votes and then not carrying through? Who'd a thunk it.

Pressure is being put on payment processors. Recently two were shut down related to CBD. My guess is big Pharma.
Something needs to be done.

I am just saying this should be so far down the list of things people think needs improvement these days. I really don’t care too much if it gets legalized, but I think it is hilarious it is considered such a critical topic to some people. There is so much more to life than being able to partake in using marijuana.

most people can have multiple concerns at once

if it's so unimportant, just legalize it

Its not critical but this isnt some giant production for this to happen. Youre simply taking away something the Feds dont have to do anymore. It will cost nothing and can be done overnight

For those unaware Basically this bill makes it so that we don’t criminalize marijuana federally in states that have legalized it,

I know Louisiana will be 50th to legalize.

Here's to hoping Mississippi is in the low 30s. I can run accross state lines for my dope.

It’s amazing to finally see a president who thinks 20 steps ahead and is smarter than everyone else.

Watch how fast the Dems switch to against, just to oppose Mr. President.

Big Pharma etc will use the far left to kill legalization efforts, this time.

Any banking bill will be killed with disingenuous concerns and ludicrous provisions from inner city Democrat congressmen re: social, racial, economic inequality stemming from the War on Drugs. They'll require these emotionally charged, NON-related provisions to be attached to these BANKING bills, which will kill it, for now.

It already happened earlier this year in NY, NJ.

So can fast food, yet it is available on every corner.

Junk food can be bought with welfare money (read: lone star cards).

It's bullshite. Personal accountability has to come into play. You cannot restrict from the masses just bc some people can't control themselves.

It certainly shouldn't be a jailable offense to have it in one's possession.

I don't care that people want to get high.

I don't care that MJ isn't studied.

I don't care that MJ makes a person lazy, stink, or apathetic.

I do care that people get thrown in jail for bullshite charges like having a fricking joint on their person.

Let people destroy their lives how they want to.

It is a free country. "Pursuit of happiness" comes in all forms.

Repulicans/ conservatives would be so MONEY if they would just grasp this. Stop giving a frick about what people do to their bodies or in their bedrooms.
